Repper Pattern Generation Tool
Background textures may not be as de rigueur as they once were but they still have their place. The only this is, once you’ve decided to go with a repeating pattern, how do you make one?
This clever little pattern generator takes an original source image as raw material and allows you to crop a selection of it to be kaleidoscoped into shape before coloring and choosing a tiling technique to be applied. This can then be exported in png.jp and tiff formats ( the desktop app can handle very high-res imagery).
Verdict : Terrific fun to play around with and produces lovely-looking patterns. Whether this is a good thing for the internet is another matter.
